The Green party has announced five candidates who will stand in Harrow in next month’s local elections.
Madeleine Lauder-Atkins, Lawrence Mathias, Rowan Langley, Karen Pillai and Dario Celashi will all be running for Harrow Borough Council in the elections on May 22.
Dr Shahrar Ali, campaign co-ordinator for Brent and Harrow, will also be running as the party’s candidate in the European elections on the same day.
He said: “We are delighted to announce our lead candidates for Harrow Council. We are fielding candidates from all walks of life, united by a common vision that we can achieve a just society, whilst caring for the planet which sustains us all.
“As Green councillors, we will fight for fair pay contracts and the London Living Wage as minimum; we will support local businesses and invest in public services; we will protect our green spaces and extend pedestrian and cycle friendly zones for the enjoyment of all.”
