Clearly my impression that the legal system was in place to uphold the law and to maintain justice was entirely wrong.
There is no justice whatsoever for the Harrow Council taxpayer in having to subsidise Nimco Ibrahim or anyone else (‘Jobless migrant wins right to council home’, Harrow Times, February 25.
Why should a pensioner such as myself, who still has to pay council tax, or the young family struggling to bring up their children have to maintain someone who has never contributed to our society?
I would dearly like Harrow Council to completely ignore the ruling but unfortunately this is not possible.
