Dal Babu

Dal Babu was posted to Harrow borough in June 2009. He is committed to ensuring Harrow remains one of the safest boroughs in London and working with all sections of the Crime and Reduction Partnership to help reduce crime and bring offenders to justice.

Dal joined the Metropolitan Police Service in July 1983. Since then he has been posted to various boroughs and units including Haringey, Islington, Redbridge, New Scotland Yard, District Support Unit, a six-month secondment to Zimbabwe, Hendon Police College, Specialist Operations, Camden, Enfield, Home Office, Tower Hamlets and Public Order Branch.

During his 26-year career, Dal has performed a combination of operational, community, public order and partnership roles.

He has a Master of Science Degree from London University.

Dal is a keen cyclist using pedal power daily, to and from work. He enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two daughters and on his allotment.
