A driver who allegedly led police on a high speed pursuit in his pickup truck and crashed into another car has appeared in court.
Joseph Nicolas Jebb, 22, appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to provide a specimen and possession of cannabis over the chase in Harrow Weald and Stanmore yesterday.
A woman who was driving her car in College Hill Road at the junction with Kenton Lane, in Harrow Weald, is being treated at a north west London hospital for serious injuries after a car being followed by police crashed into her at about 11.10am.
Police said the dramatic pursuit started when two officers on patrol came across two drivers arguing in Pinner Road, and the driver of one the vehicles, a black Toyota Hilux, drove away when they approached.
