The scene of the end of the pursuit in College Hill Road yesterday.
A woman is seriously injured in hospital after a pickup truck being pursued at high speed by police crashed into her car yesterday.
The victim, who was driving her car in College Hill Road at the junction with Kenton Lane, in Harrow Weald, is being treated at a north west London hospital after the crash at about 11.10am.
Police said the dramatic pursuit started when two officers on patrol came across two drivers arguing in Pinner Road, and the driver of one the vehicles, a black Toyota Hilux, drove away when they approached.
After the chase ended with the crash in College Hill Road, the driver, a man in his 20s, was arrested for various driving offences and for assault when he drove the truck at officers.
He is now being questioned at a north west London police station.
