Police chase ends in crash at Kenton Lane and Mountside, Stanmore

Diversions are still in place
A high speed police chase ended in a car crash this morning.
Officers were following a black Toyota Prius which was driving erratically when it collided with a VW Passat at the junction of Kenton Lane and Mountside, Stanmore, just after 11am.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital with head injuries before being arrested for dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
The roundabout opposite the Duck in the Pond pub is closed and diversions are still in place as police remain at the scene. Bus routes H18 and H19 are also being diverted.
