Man dies after being hit by Tube train at South Harrow

A man has died after being hit by a Tube train at South Harrow Station yesterday afternoon.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was hit by a westbound Piccadilly line train at the station in Northolt Road at just after 12.30pm. Detectives are treating the death as non-suspicious.
The British Transport Police said that paramedics went to the station but pronounced the man dead at the scene, and the line was reopened less than an hour later.
