Police have identified a woman who died after being found serious injured in a car in Stonebridge.

Police were called at 11.10pm on Saturday night following reports of a seriously injured woman in a parked car in Wyborne Way.

Sharlana Diedrick, 32, of Watford, was taken by ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital but she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A post mortem examination took place on Sunday at Northwick Park Mortuary and gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

On Monday 30-year-old Marvin Samuels of Conduit Way, Stonebridge, was charged with Ms Diedrick’s murder.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court today.

Two other men were also arrested in connection with the murder but they have both been released without charge.
