Murder investigation launched after Wembley stab victim dies in hospital

A murder investigation has been launched after a Wembley stabbing victim died in hospital.

Police and paramedics were called to Chalkhill Road where a 26-year-old man was suffering from stab wounds on Wednesday, September 5.

The incident happened on the pavement outside Chalkhill Primary Care Centre shortly before 7pm.

The victim was taken to St Mary's Hospital where he died on Thursday, September 13.

Detective Chief Inspector Manning said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in or around the Chalkhill Road area of Wembley on the evening of Wednesday, 5 September. Did you see anything? Did you hear anything?

"I am also keen to hear from anyone with any information about this incident. If you think you can assist our investigation please call our incident room."

Two men aged 22-years-old and one 21-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the crime.  Two have been bailed to return to a north London police station in November, and one remains in custody.
