Children at a South Harrow primary school raised hundreds of pounds for charity by dressing up as fairies and wizards.
Pupils at Heathland School in Eastcote Lane spent Thursday in fancy dress to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation, which works to realise the dreams of terminally ill children.
The costumed day made £486 for the charity, which the school council voted to raise money for, with Year 6 pupils designing and selling magic wands for the occasion.
