Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they are hunting after passengers were subjected to a tirade of racial abuse on a Piccadilly line train.

Officers from the British Transport Police want to speak to the two men in relation to the incident onboard the Tube service on April 23 between 6.35-7.10pm.

Before the duo left the train at Sudbury Town Station, passengers were forced to listen to abusive and threatening language directed at Asian and black commuters.

Detective Constable Elaine Sexton said: “The men’s language left the victims feeling extremely shaken. As such, we’d like anyone with information to come forward straightaway.”

This is blatantly RACIST abuse being hurled at innocent passengers and anyone who can help the Police trace them would be doing a great service to their community.
