A Councillor is gearing up for a charity run today to raise money for the Harrow Law Centre.
Ben Wealthy, who serves residents in the Greenhill Ward for Harrow, will be joined by 25,000 other runners in the British 10k run.
The centre provides free legal advice to people in the borough, and Cllr Wealthy has so far raised £160 of his £500 target.
He said: “I’m very excited for the run and very pleased to be helping the community in this way.
“Harrow Law Centre is an excellent charity and in the current economic climate, with the Government’s decision to cut legal aid, the services offered by the centre are crucial.”
Runners will swoop through Trafalgar Square, sprint past St Pauls Cathedral and race past Big Ben before finishing in Whitehall.
