Stanmore and Canons Park synagogue celebrates Israel's 64th birthday

A Stanmore synagogue is celebrating Israel’s 64th birthday tomorrow night.

Hundreds of people are expected to turn up at the celebrations, at Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue, in London Road.

A religious service will start at 7pm, which will be followed by a dinner and dance from 8pm. Jewish rock band Shlock Rock will also perform.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £8 for children and can be bought in advance or on the door.
