POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a bank robbery when two men carrying baseball bats snatched a cash box from security guards this morning.
Officers were called at around 6.40am to Santander, in Harrow Road, South Harrow.
Two men armed with a baseball bat, entered the bank and demanded cash as it was being deposited by two security guards.
The men, one walking and one on a bike, snatched a cash box and then fled towards Northolt.
No weapons were found and there were no injuries.
Detectives from the Flying Squad at Finchley are investigating.
