DAVID Miliband has thanked supporters in the borough through a letter to the Harrow Times.
The Labour leadership candidate promotes himself as the politician to win back the votes the party lost and to challenge David Cameron at Prime Minister's questions.
He said: “I am honoured to have the support of Harrow East and Harrow West party members in my campaign.
“I promise I won’t let you down and that together we will rebuild our party and win for our values.
“Local party members have had their say. In a few days millions of party members and members of trade unions will be asked to decide on who should be Labour’s leader.
“I would urge all Harrow Times readers to use their vote and to visit www.davidmiliband.net to join the debate on Britain’s future.”
Mr Miliband has the support of Brent North MP Barry Gardiner and Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas.
He is up against brother and ex-energy and climate change secretary Ed Miliband, former education secretary Ed Balls, Diane Abboty, the first black woman in the House of Commons, and former health minister Andy Burnham.
Mr Miliband visited Harrow in May to meet party members and discuss Labour's future.
