A TEENAGER was arrested last night after barricading himself and four women into a room at Edgware Community Hospital.
Officers were called in by worried staff to the New Beginnings Ward, which houses young people with mental health issues, at about 11pm when the 16-year-old smashed a window.
When officers arrived they found the 16-year old had locked the door and pulled the curtains over the windows leading to fears for the patient's safety.
Police used an enforcer to break through the door, but found he had piled furniture against it making it harder to get through When they got into the room officers arrested and cautioned the youngster and discovered the window had been smashed with a bongo drum.
