AN e-fit of a man who robbed a motorist with a firearm has been released by police.

The robber lured his victim to the carpark of Clementine Churchill Hospital, in Sudbury Hill, on Friday, February 12, at 7pm, by posting an advert for a silver VW Golf on website Gumtree.

But after letting the man test drive the car, the con artist threatened him with a firearm and then stole his grey Rover 75, registration number W632 TMJ.

Police believe an accomplice drove the Golf away from the scene while the robbery was going on.

Detectives are looking for a black man, of stocky build, aged 25 to 30, with a shaved head, who was wearing a blue nurses' scrubs uniform at the time.

He had a plaster just below his lip and is thought to be from Harrow or Brent.
