YOUNGSTERS from the Sai School of Harrow in Abercorn Road, Stanmore and its partner organisation the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation hosted a bone marrow donor clinic at St Ann's shopping centre on February 20.
On behalf of the Anthony Nolan Trust, pupils helped raise awareness of ethnic minority leukemia sufferers seeking matching bone marrow donors.
The Sai children registered 20 new donors while other shoppers discussed future donations with a team of doctors and nurses.
The Sai Service Organisation runs free medical camps throughout the world and a medical team will fly to Sri Lanka in March to support the tsunami appeal.
The Sai School is a voluntary group which holds classes on Saturdays.
Pupils from the school presented two special dance routines for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on their visit to Harrow last April.
