A DISGRACED ex-Brent mayor has been told to justify her position on the capital's fire authority by Boris Johnson.
The London mayor said he is considering fellow Tory politician Councillor Bertha Joseph's position as deputy chair of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) after she used charity donations to buy herself a ball gown.
He has give her two weeks to make her case for remaining on the body before he makes a decision on whether to sack her.
The mayor's letter comes just days after it emerged Cllr Joseph will be investigated by police over the scandal.
Cllr Joseph was suspended from her Kensal Green seat in October and lost an appeal against the decision in February.
She will remain suspended until the end of her term in May, when she will be able to stand for re-election.
