POLICE say they are “extremely concerned” for the safety of a missing 13-year-old with links to Brent.

Lachea Perkins-Parara, 13, went missing on Friday, January 15, from the place where she was staying in Hertford and has not been seen since.

Police first issued an urgent appeal for help tracing Lachea, who is black and around 5ft 5inches tall, last Wednesday but one week on they are no closer to finding her.

She is described as stocky, with short, black, afro-style hair and officers say she has ties to both Brent and Watford.

She was last seen wearing a blue smock top, a grey zip-up hoodie, bright blue leggings and multi-coloured plimsoles.

Detective Inspector Tracy Stevens, of Brent Police, said: “We would like to speak to Lachea and see if she is okay or if she needs our help in anyway.

“We are very concerned about her and it is really important that if the public have any information that they get in touch with police.”

Sarah Samee, a spokesman for the police, said: “Police are urging Lachea to get in touch with the police as they are extremely concerned for her safety.”
