HARROW will come together to remember those who died in the Mumbai massacre one year on.
Politicians and community leaders will gather on the slopes of Harrow-on-the-Hill, opposite Harrow College, in Lowlands Road, at 6pm for a candle lit vigil.
Around 165 people were killed when terrorists hit a series of targets across India's capital with bombings and shootings starting on November 26, 2008.
Gareth Thomas, MP for Harrow West, said: “All of us watched with horror the terrorist attacks that took place last year.
“This vigil is an exercise in solidarity with the families of the victims of the Mumbai terrorist attacks, and with the families of the victims of terrorist attacks around the world.
“We as a country have suffered terrorist attacks ourselves. Democratic countries like the UK and India must stand together to resist terrorism in all its forms and guises.”
