A PINNER man taken hostage in Iraq in 2005 spoke at a peace meeting at Harrow High School on Sunday.

Peace activist Norman Kember told crowds gathered at the school, in Gayton Road, that violence creates more problems than it solves.

The meeting was dedicated to victims of violent conflict around the world and included multi-faith prayers.
