HARROW looks set to remain a casino-free borough according to a fresh gambling policy which has been drawn up.
The previous policy, approved three years ago by Harrow Council, agreed that no casino licences would be granted in the borough.
The new policy, which has been under discussion for the last few months, proposes to continue with that stance for the next three years.
It also includes new guidelines for small society lotteries, rules for gambling licences in clubs, and clarifying what skill gaming machines are.
The policy has been recommended by council officers for approval, and will be discussed at a meeting tonight starting at 7pm.
