A 46-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of a school dinner lady in Wembley last week.

Mikdat Sahpaz is due to appear at Brent Magistrates Court this morning accused of stabbing Elif Oruc, 42, at the kitchen of the house they shared in Carlton Avenue East, on Thursday, at around 10pm.

Elif, who worked at Barham Primary School, in Danethorpe Road, had two children, including an 11-year-old son who attends Preston Park Primary School, in College Road, where she used to work.

She does not have any other relatives in Britain.
