POLICE are searching for this woman after an attempted robbery in which a 48-year-old white woman was racially abused.
The victim got on a train at Wembley Central, heading into London, and was attacked between Stonebridge Park and Kensal Green, at around 2pm on Saturday, May 30.
Detective Constable Jon Howlett, of the British Transport Police (BTP), said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack and the victim was understandably shaken by the ordeal.”
A woman, thought to be black, 5ft 5inches and of medium build, asked her for money and when she refused she was racially and verbally abused.
The insults continued until the woman got off the train at Kensal Green.
Her attacker was described as in her mid-20s to early 30s, with wavy afro hair pulled back across her head.
Anyone with information can contact the BTP free of charge on 0800 40 50, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
