TWO Harrow men who stole £100,000 worth of goods from a Marlow jewellers have been jailed for eight years.

Damian Kaczynski, 27, and Adam Romulewicz, 29, both of Pinner Road, threatened staff at Buckingham Antiques in Marlow town centre with handguns before stealing jewellery and smashing display cabinets.

Kaczynski and Romulewicz – described as “extremely dangerous” by police officers investigating the raid – were jailed at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, January 15, following the raid on May 3.

The two men also received a six year prison sentence after another armed robbery at Jacobs Jewellers in Reading, on April 16.

A third man, 24-year-old Jaroslaw Trzcinski, also of Pinner Road, was jailed for six years for his part in the Reading robbery.

Romulewicz and Kaczynski were both arrested in Harrow on May 9 and were subsequently arrested for the robberies. Trzcinski was arrested in Marlow a day later for the Reading robbery.

Detective Constable James Humphries, from Reading Police, who led the investigation into both robberies, said: “These three men are extremely dangerous and clearly willing to brandish handguns around in the middle of busy towns.

“They put their victims through terrifying ordeals and we can only hope that this sentencing can give them some closure.

“These men are known to police in other countries and they will be deported to Poland upon their release.”
