POLICE want help tracking three prolific vandals who sprayed graffiti over dozens of buildings across South Harrow.

Officers have photographed 80 different incidents of graffiti being sprayed on buildings, walls, garages, and doors, but know there are probably even more places that were hit.

Sergeant Mark Slawson, of the Roxbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team, is gathering evidence on the vandals, and appealed for people whose property has been graffitied with the three distinctive tags to get in touch.

He said: “It was absolutely horrendous, these three tags pretty much appeared over every surface in South Harrow.

“A lot of it is still around because it is on private premises, and the council will clean the public areas, but won't go on to the private areas.

“We want people to get in touch, make a statement, and we can see about getting Community Payback to come and clean it away.”

The three vandals struck during August and September this year, spraying the words Dout, Uga, and Lockz with black paint.

The same motif appeared numerous times across the ward and neighbouring ward of Roxeth.

If you were a victim of the serial vandals, you can contact Sgt Slawson and his team on 0208 649 3503.
