Hospital radio up for awards

A HOSPITAL radio station has been nominated for three national awards.

Radio Northwick Park, which provides entertainment for patients at Northwick Park Hospital, in Watford Road, has received three nominations for this year's Hospital Broadcasting Association National Awards.

Night time DJ Ben Punter is up for male presenter of the year, early morning presenter Lauren Rich is nominated for female presenter of the year, and the entire station has been nominated for the prestigious station of the year award.

The award ceremony will take place on March 29 in Leeds, during the association's spring conference weekend.
