Two teenagers have been charged over a moped street robbery that left a woman in a critical condition with head injuries.
The woman, 24, was walking in Holyrood Gardens, Edgware, at about 9.10pm on June 4 when two men rode up to her on a moped.
She struggled with the pillion passenger, who punched her to the ground and took her mobile phone and bag.
On Sunday a 17-year-old, who has not been named because of his age, and James Hicks, 19, of no fixed address, were charged with robbery.
They are also accused of three counts of fraud, theft of a motor vehicle, theft and possession of Class B drugs, and two further alleged robberies.
Scotland Yard said they had appeared at Willesden Green Magistrates' Court on Sunday and were remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on July 9.
