Coverage of the Royal Wedding celebrations in full swing will be projected on a big screen thanks to a business improvement group.
On May 19, Harrow BID will host a fun-filled street party to mark the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Footage of the ceremony will be projected at 12pm on a specially-installed big screen on St Ann’s Road, and guests can expect to lounge in deckchairs sitting on fake grass in true British garden party style.
Spots in front of the screen are available on first-come first-serve basis.
After the main event, children can take part in a prince and princess fancy dress competition from 3.30pm onwards. Photos will be uploaded to Facebook and the one who receives the most “likes” will be crowned the winner.
Finally, a showing of Disney’s The Princes and the Frog will play on the big screen from 4.30pm, finishing at around 6.10pm.
The event is free and no alcohol is permitted.
