An investigation has been launched after a hospital was broken into.
Security at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore discovered a laundry room door forced open and the window pane smashed.
Police were called to the scene at around 3.20 am.
Nothing was stolen but police believe whoever is responsible wanted to steal cash, because the laundry room door leads to a restaurant area where there is a till.
There are no descriptions of suspects at this stage but police are looking at CCTV footage.
They believe the break in happened around 3am.
