The deadline for answering a survey on Brent’s next Local Plan – which will help shape the region for the next 20 years – is fast approaching.
Anyone with an interest in the borough has until March 22 to voice their opinion in the latest round of consultation.
The Local Plan, which covers issues such as housing and developments, helps guide decision makers in the future.
This survey looks at things such as what size and bulk of housing is appropriate, whether student accommodation should be concentrated or spread across the borough and what parts of the borough should be conserved or protected.
Cllr Shama Tatler, who is responsible for regeneration, growth, employment and skills at Brent Council, said: “In the hundred years or so since much of Brent as we know it was built, the borough's population has grown significantly and it continues to grow.
“That brings with it a need for new homes, better infrastructure and more jobs locally for our residents while maintaining quality of life, but there is limited space available.
“Where those homes are built and where those jobs are created over the next 20 years will be influenced hugely by the outcome of the Local Plan, and so it's really important for those yet to have their say in this process to do so before the deadline, and help shape the future of Brent.”

The feedback from this consultation will be assessed by the council, which will again seek views and opinions at the end of this year before making further decisions.
