Cash was stolen from a betting shop after a member of its staff was threatened with a gun.

Police are investigating the incident in Uxbridge Road, Pinner, which reportedly involved two men who had their faces partially covered.

The Met’s Flying Squad was called to the bookmakers at around 7.40pm on November 23 following reports of an armed robbery.

A spokesperson for the force confirmed that one of the suspects threatened an employee with a gun before making off with “a small amount of cash”.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, aged around 40, around 6ft 2in and large build. He was wearing black gloves and dark jeans.

A second suspect, described as white, in his early to mid-20s and around 5ft 8in tall, is believed to have waited outside the shop during the incident. He was wearing a grey crash helmet.
