Celebrity guests celebrated a school who campaigned for mental health in a ceremony in City Hall.
Dame Barbara Windsor and designer Wayne Hemingway joined London Deputy Mayor Joanne McCartney to award Hendon School for their work in mental health at The Team London Awards.
Young ambassadors of the school developed a mental health campaign called Stamp Out Stigma (SOS), obtaining funding for two teachers in every school in Barnet to receive two days of First Aid Mental Health training.
Deputy Mayor McCartney said: "Volunteers are an unstoppable force in our city and the work they do to improve the lives of their fellow Londoners is inspiring.
"Volunteering breaks down barriers and brings communities closer together, while giving people the opportunity to build their skills The Team London Awards are a great way to recognise how volunteers really add to the life of our great city and I was delighted to meet volunteers of all ages and backgrounds at this year’s ceremony.
"Congratulations to everyone involved."
As part of the campaign pupils also hosted an annual mental health conference.
