A busy high street has been closed and emergency services called following a crash.
Station Road, in Harrow, was cordoned off after a car collided with a motorcycle.
London Air Ambulance responded to the incident along with regular ambulance services and the police.
A woman, who witnessed the incident, wrote on social media how it happened right outside where she was getting her nails done.
“A man got knocked off his motorbike,” she said. “They’ve closed the whole road in both directions. Air ambulance took the man, police chatting to the car driver.”
London Air Ambulance confirmed in a statement that a man was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The police added that he suffered an injury to his leg but that his condition was not life-threatening.
