A teenager who was stabbed to death in broad daylight has been named locally.

Abdullahi Tarabi collapsed in an alleyway after being chased by two people at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, April 11.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Newnham Close, in Northolt, where they found the 19-year-old victim with stab wounds in his stomach.

He was taken to a north London hospital but was pronounced dead just after 5.35pm.

His family have been informed.

Tributes have seen been posted on Facebook by close friends.

Kallum Reed shared his “disbelief” over losing a friend he had known since primary school.

He said: “Everyone liked young Tarabi and I used to look out for him in school.

“It leaves me confused and hurt that he has been taken from us, at a very young age too. My heart is hurting.”

Three 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

They have been further arrested on suspicion of murder.

All four currently remain in custody at separate London police stations.

Detectives are appealing for further information about the attack.

DCI Partridge said: "This deplorable attack took place in broad daylight in a residential location.

"I would like to hear from anyone who saw the attack itself or witnessed anything else that may be important.

"Whilst arrests have been made we are keen to trace a man who fled the scene in the direction of Petts Hill’.
