To Hold and Be Held

A rare exhibition in which the artist invites you to touch all her pieces. Yuen-Ying Lam’s work moulds according to the shape of each individual body and provides a social space for being with other people. Many of her therapeutic sculptures are made into the shapes of objects she treasured as a child, as a remedy to give herself the nurturing attachment she needed. She hopes to show that those coping with difficult and unpleasant feelings are not alone through offering solace and care through her creations.
