A privately owned nursery with four new playrooms has officially opened for the children of Harrow.

Bright Little Stars in Sheepcote Road, Harrow, opened on Saturday February 11.

It will create 40 new jobs and is open 50 weeks a year, to help provide better childcare options for families.

The disused building has been renovated and now offers four playrooms, play areas and a large communal garden.

Harrow Mayor Rekha Shah, was joined by Harrow councillors and nursery staff as she cut the ribbon to officially open the nursery.

Nursery Manager, Emily Stoker, said: "It’s lovely to welcome so many families to view our new, fantastic nursery, I’m looking forward to working with my team to provide the best quality childcare in Harrow."

Founded in 2012, the privately-run nursery group aims to provide exceptional care and learning whilst supporting each child.
