Children are invited to three special events this Christmas from storytelling to workshops and the Great Santa’s Elf Hunt.

The Heath Robinson museum in West End Lane, Pinner Memorial Park is hosting their first ever series of family Christmas events this month.

A museum to English illustrator Heath Robinson was opened in October this year.

A Christmas stocking workshop will begin from 10.30am on Thursday December 22 and before an Interactive story sharing the tale of the Elves and the shoemaker will start from 1.30pm.

The Great Santa’s Elf hunt will begin from 11am on December 23, where children can help Santa and his elves find all the missing presents in time for Christmas Eve.

Secret Art Sale raises almost £5,000 for Pinner Museum

A secret art sale saw 143 artists exhibit their work in efforts to raise money for the Heath Robinson Museum.

Museum press officer, Ruth McNeil said: “Heath Robinson loved children. He delighted in drawing faerie kingdoms and in seeing children in awe and delight.

“Now that the Heath Robinson Museum is open, we have the chance to bring some of this magic to Pinner, not just in some of the art shown in the Museum galleries, but also in special events organised for children.”
