It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Harrow after the switching on of the seasonal lights.
Organised by the Harrow Business Improvement District (BID), this year's event proved a big hit with the thousands of people who attended on Saturday.
Andy Stubbs, chief executive at Harrow BID said: "It was a joy to see so many beaming faces in the town centre. I would like to personally thank everyone who came to take part in the festivities, you really made the event what it was and certainly helped us spread some Christmas spirit.
"A lot of hard work went into organising the day so I am delighted to see that it was such a success.”
Miles Otway from Radio Harrow performed throughout the day on the stage situated on St Anns Road.
There was also entertainment from Harrow Philharmonic Choir, Harrow based dance crew, Kidology, plus, dancers from Karan's Bollywood Masterclass.
Many also enjoyed a free visit to Santa’s grotto on the day where they were greeted by Harrow’s very own cheeky elf and went away with a special Christmas gift.
The BID was formed in 2014 following a vote by town centre businesses.
