Police were quick on the scene to disperse the travellers
Travellers attempting to pitch up at a South Harrow park have been moved on by police.
Caravans and vehicles were seen squeezing through the gates of Alexandra Park in Alexandra Avenue at around 6pm on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing eight caravans.
However a council spokesperson confirmed that a formal order to move issued by police was heeded by the group, and they left shortly afterwards.
