Engineers have cleared the drains on a North Harrow road prone to flash flooding to prevent it reoccurring there.
Station Road, which dips beneath the North Harrow railway station bridge, has been plagued by flash flooding twice in as many months.
A team from GFL Environmental Corp was clearing the troublesome drain on Wednesday morning to enable it to cope with heavy rainfall.
Torrential rain left the road under several feet of water in June before the same stretch was hit again by unseasonal flooding on July 12.
