A Harrow-based childminder has been nominated for a national childcare award.

Darshna Mozaria set up Little Darling Childcare on Sefton Avenue in 2009, and has made it to the final of the Nursery World Awards.

One of the most significant events in the childcare calendar, the awards night attracts hundreds of guests from all kinds of early years sectors.

Darshna has been nominated for the “working with parents award” for the innovative way in which she keeps parents informed of how their child is doing whilst at nursery.

“I am so thrilled to be a finalist in such a distinguished national award,” she said.

“This is a reflection of all the effort and care that my staff put in, as well as the positive support I receive from all the parents.”

The gala dinner and awards presentation will take place at The Brewery on September 24.
