When news first broke of the attack he wrote: “Horrific news about my colleague the excellent Jo Cox; a superb MP and comrade. Thoughts are with her and her family.”
Bob Blackman, Conservative MP for Harrow East, said on Twitter: “Tragic news about the murder of @Jo_Cox1. All my prayers are for her family at this terrible news. RIP to a valued and respected colleague.”
