HUNDREDS took part in a run to raise money for an “important” hospice.
People of all ages took part in Run Wembley for St Luke’s Hospice, in Kenton, on Sunday and raised £7,500.
A total of 90 of the runners completed the 10K route, 40 ran the 5K route, and their young supporters ran one km.
Team Sara participant Iram Ali said: “The event was wonderful, people were very friendly and cooperative. Something we’re looking forward to doing again.”
Laura Fairbanks, a freelance sound mixer completed the 10K run and said: “St Luke’s is a very important charity that not only helps those coming to the end of their life, but families left behind.”
