A central London community health trust will be delivering adult community health services in Harrow from this month.

This includes community nursing, diabetes, specialist nursing, podiatry, a seven days-a-week rapid response service and rehabilitation services.

The Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) provides community health services to around a million people across London and Hertfordshire and Harrow will become the ninth borough in which the trust operates.

Cathy Walker, director of operations at CLCH said: “We’re really excited about working together with our local healthcare partners and supporting adults at local clinics and in their own homes in Harrow.

“Our priority during our first weeks is to make sure that care is not disrupted and in the long term, supporting staff to further increase the quality of care for people in Harrow.”
