PEOPLE have raised nearly £30,000 in memory of a 20-year-old whose final wish was to buy a charity a new ambulance.

Liora Rosenberg, who lived in Hendon and was a pupil at JFS, in Kenton, had a bleed to the brain and pneumonia and spent just over a week on life support.

Her mother, Lauren, announced her death on a Facebook group set up for people to do a good deed in her name late on Saturday night.

She wrote: “It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write this. Thank you for our amazing, supportive energy as a group.

“Your unity and prayers have been a big comfort to our family. Our beautiful daughter finished her work in this world and Liora’s neshama (spirit) is now shining down on us.”

The day before Liora was admitted to hospital, she told her mother if she won the lottery, she would buy a new ambulance for Hatzola.

Since then, friends and strangers have helped raise over £27,000 in her memory – but the ambulance will cost around £100,000k.

The Facebook group now has more than 15,000 members which saw people pray for her recovery.

They are now being urged to do a good deed in honour of the “kind-hearted” teaching assistant.

One friend wrote on the wall: “Thank you to everyone who came together to pray for Liora’s family. Your support by doing good deeds and posting inspirational stories of miracles.

“I saw many miracles happen this week because of Liora and even though she was not awake, she woke up over 14,000 people and brought us together as one big family when we needed it the most.”
