There is less than a week left to enter a Harrow business enterprise competition.

The Harrow Business Den event invites members of the community to build and present business plans with the aim of winning a business support package consisting of mentoring, training and publicity as well as a cash prize of £1,500.

The competition which is entering its third year and is organised by Harrow Council in partnership with Stanmore Business and Innovation Centre, will culminate in a final event to be held on March 2nd at Harrow Civic Centre, Station Road.

At the event finalists will pitch their business plans to a panel of business experts in order to win the grand prize. Last year’s winner was bespoke cake business A Slice of Nice.

Council Deputy Leader and portfolio holder for business, Cllr Keith Ferry, described the event as: “A chance to win a fantastic package of support to take your business to the next level. We’ve seen how successful it has been for last year’s winner, and this year it could be you. So enter now before it’s too late.”

Closing date for submissions is midday on Monday February 1st and finalists will be notified on Friday February 5th. To enter please visit http://www.harrow.gov.uk/businessden.
