Grandparents get a taste of fun with nursery day out
Songs and games were enjoyed as a nursery welcomed in a horde of grandparents for the afternoon.
Children at Boys & Girls Nursery in The Broadway, Stanmore, celebrated this year’s Grandparents Day by enjoying an afternoon play session with their elder relatives.
National Grandparents Day was introduced to the UK in 1990 by charity Age concern, and is always celebrated on the first Sunday in October.
A spokesman said: “The little ones were so excited to spend special time with their grandparents in the nursery showing them their work and having fun reading, singing and playing.”
