Firefighters will take to the streets to raise money for burned and injured children.

London Fire Brigade will team up with the Children of Fire charity for its annual Monopoly Moonwalk on Saturday, September 12.

Starting at Elephant and Castle, children and their supporters will walk the 27 landmarks of the monopoly boar, including Old Kent Road, the Tower of London, finishing at Oxford Street.

London Fire Commissioner Ron Dobson said: “These children are extremely courageous and it is an absolute tragedy that they have been so seriously injured by fire.

“If we can help prevent another child from being injured or help raise awareness and support for those who have been, then their suffering won’t have been in vain.”
